Summer Servings Kick Off Sees High Attendance

Over 150 children and their families took part in the Vincennes School Corporation’s Summer Meal program at Gregg Park Monday.

Parks Superintendent Steve Beaman told members of the Board of Works yesterday that the kids dined on hot dogs, corn, asparagus and watermelon.

The parks department is serving as one of the host sites for this year’s program. To see the full schedule at all the sites — CLICK HERE.

Kids under 18 eat for free, while those 18 or older can pay $2.00 to eat.

The program continues through the end of July.
