Here is a list of all the events and activities that are coming up around the listening area:

The North Daviess track team is having a Pancake and sausage benefit breakfast on Saturday, March 13th from 6-10am. It's a free will donation. The location will be at the Masonic Lodge in Odon, Indiana.

Team Miss Marlee for the March of Dimes will be having a community cook-out at the First Vincennes Savings Bank on Kimmel Rd in Vincennes Saturday, March 13th from 11am-1pm.

Benefit Dinner, Auction & Dance for Sheila Frye will take place Saturday, March 13th at 6pm-?? at the Bruceville Rod & Gun Club. She was diagnosed with Stage 2 T1N1 Breast Cancer the day before Thanksgiving. She has had 2 surgeries one on December 15th and a second on December 31st. She will start chemotherapy soon, then radiation to follow. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. Kids 8 & under are free. On Saturday, March 13, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Fortnightly Club in Vincennes, V.U. and the Friends of the Knox County Public Library will sponsor a program entitled "Tales and Music: Irish and Traditional." Lillian Klipsch will tell stories. Richard King and Terri King will furnish the Irish music while Bob and Sherry King and Kevin Doyle play traditional tunes. All are welcome, especially the young and the young at heart! Refreshments will be served at this free program.

Vincennes University alumni are invited to a mixer on Monday, March 15th at 6:30 p.m. (EST), at the Vincennes Golf Club, located at 1364 N. Hillcrest Rd., Vincennes. Alumni are invited to enjoy good music, fellowship, and meet members of the Alpha Chapter of the VU Alumni Association, sponsor of the mixer. The Alpha Chapter also reminds the public that members are accepting donations for a spring Trash and Treasure Sale. Donations are accepted every Saturday from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at 18 N. 2nd Street in Vincennes. Proceeds from the spring sale will support scholarships to VU. For more information call 812-888-4354.
Impact Series: Matt Glowacki will speak about Diversity According to South Park & Family Guy on Thursday, March 18th at 11am at Fort Sackville in the Beckes Student Union.

Javier will be in concert Thursday, March 18th at 8pm at the Green Activities Center on the Vincennes University Campus.

Chauncey Community Club Pancake and Sausage Event will be held on Saturday, March 20th from 7am-1pm in Chauncey, IL. A free will donation will be accepted.

The Miss VU Pageant will be Saturday, March 20th at 8pm at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center Theatre. For ticket information, please call 888-4039.

Spring is on the Way and Daffodils are known as the first flowers of Spring. Once again the American Cancer Society will be sponsoring Daffodils Days, giving everyone an opportunity to join in the fight against cancer and to help save lives.  Dollars raised support cancer research, education reinforcing the importance of early detection, advocacy initiatives and local patient services in our community. The live flowers will be delivered the week of March 22nd with care instructions.  More information is available at 882-5162.

Everyone is invited to the Monday, March 22nd Aglow International Meeting, located at Church on the Way, 700 N.W. Van Trees Street in Washington, IN. Praise and Worship will be led by One Voice starting at 7pm with guest speaker Cliff Clark immediately following.

Comedienne Rebecca Corry will perform at the Green Activities Center on Tuesday, March 23rd at 8pm.

The Vincennes University Music Department will have a Percussion Ensemble Concert Thursday, March 25th at 7:30pm at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center Theatre. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.
Double Feature Movie Night at Shircliff Theatre on Friday, March 26th. At 7pm 2012, and at 9:15pm, Sherlock Holmes.

The 3rd Annual Four Winds Native American Fine Arts Bazaar will be hosted by Angel Mounds State Historic Site on Saturday, March 27th from 9am-5pm & Sunday, March 28th from 1-5pm, with an opening night reception on Friday, March 26th. VU Student Activities, in conjunction with the Evansville Tri State Alliance, will be sponsoring the first annual Vincennes AIDs Walk on Saturday, March 27th on the VU campus.  A Health Fair and Registration will take place at 1pm and the walk will start at 2pm. We are working to raise awareness about HIV and AIDS in our region, and raising funds for the AIDS Holiday Project, which helps purchase grocery store gift cards for low-income households impacted by HIV and AIDs in our region. Wheatland Lions Club will have a Ham & Bean Supper at the Steen Township Volunteer Fire Dept, located at 210 Niblack Street in Wheatland, IN, on Saturday, March 27th from 5-7pm. A free will offering will be taken at the door.

Spoken Word Artist Gabriela Garcia-Medina will speak on Revolution on Tuesday, March 30th at 8pm in the Fort Sackville Rooms in the Beckes Student Union.

A 5K walk/run (Miles for KcKenna) is planned for Saturday, April 3rd at Lincoln High School, located at 1545 S. Hart St. in Vincennes. The start time is at 8:30am with registration starting at 7am. McKenna Connor is the daughter of Travis and Bessie Connor and suffers from PCD (Primary Ciliary Diskinesia) a progressive, debilitating disease that is attacking her respiratory system. The Vincennes University Music & Theatre Department’s Spring Musical, Footloose, at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center Theatre will run from Thursday, April 15th through Sunday, April 18th with show times at 7pm Thursday, 8pm Friday and Saturday, and 2pm Sunday. March of Dimes, March for Babies will be Sunday, April 18th starting at 1pm.

The Vincennes University Music Department will have “An Evening of Winds and Percussion” on Wednesday, April 21st at 7:30pm at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center Theatre. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.

The Vincennes University Alumni Community Series has announced that the March 6 Manhattan Transfer concert has been re-scheduled to April 23. The re-scheduled Manhattan Transfer concert will be at 8pm (EST) on April 23rd at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center on the VU campus.  Persons currently holding tickets for the concert will be able to use those same tickets for the April 23 concert. Those with questions or an interest in purchasing tickets for the concert should call the VU Alumni office at 812-888-4354 or 1-800-945-ALUM as soon as possible.  Limited seating is available.

The Vincennes University Music Department Guitar Fest will be Thursday, April 29th at 7:30pm at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center Theatre. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.
